Allows users to apply AC electric potentials across the contact via a range of waveforms options, including sine, square, triangular, sawtooth , and more.
This module extends the capability of the MTM-EC by enabling alternating current (AC) signals or waveform input. It includes a waveform amplifier and upgraded software features that allow control of a function generator.
The AC add-on makes it possible to apply time-varying voltage signals to the contact, which may be required for simulating electrical conditions in systems such as inverter-fed motors or variable-frequency drives. This allows investigation of how oscillating electrical fields affect the lubricated contact interface.
