Following feedback from our customers and extensive market research PCS are pleased to announce we are now offering annual service contracts on all our instruments.

Why have a PCS Annual Service?

  • Reduce Instrument Downtime

A PCS Annual Service includes a full on-site service and calibration of the equipment to ensure correct calibration and use of the instrument.  This will lead to less instrument downtime due to repairs, as preventative maintenance will be carried out during the service.

  • Better Trained users of Equipment

New or existing users can be trained during the service – any questions can be asked face to face.  The annual service day can be increased to more days if required to include basic tribology training†

  • Improved Budget Control

Preventative maintenance and refresher training for users leads to a reduction in overall costs of the equipment and also limits the potential cost of repair caused by incorrect running or calibration of the equipment.

  • Improved Confidence in Test Results

With a fully serviced and fully calibrated system, the user can be assured that the instrument is running correctly, giving added confidence in the test results from the instrument.  If required, PCS will also run free tests at PCS to confirm results‡.

  • Receive New Update Information – software/firmware and user manuals

All new updated software/firmware, in addition to our user manuals, will be sent or  available to download free of charge.

  • On-site Assistance from Tribology Experts

Our trained engineers have extensive tribology knowledge.  Extra days† can be booked to include tribology training either specifically for the equipment – or on tribology in general.

We are now offering extended warranties on all our instruments to give you further peace of mind.
