When is STLE?
This year the STLE annual meeting will start with an opening session and keynote address at 8:30am EDT on Monday 17th May, and will finish at 3:30pm EDT on Thursday 20th May
How big is the STLE Annual Meeting?
The annual STLE conference and exhibition is one of the largest events on the tribology calendar each year. With over 1,000 attendees from the lubricant industry hailing from nearly 40 countries, it offers a great opportunity to network and learn more about the field.
What topics are covered?
There are over 300 different presentations scheduled across the 4 days of the conference. These cover a vast range of different topics, including everything from engine and drive train tribology to additive manufacturing. We would also like to give a special mention to the biotribology and wear sessions, as those fields are building on the success of the joint ICOBT and WOM conference earlier this month. How can you talk to us at the conference?
The STLE platform has been designed to allow attendees to find and communicate easily with exhibitors during the conference. This is done in the Exhibit Hall. When you are on the conference platform, simply go to the exhibit hall, find our booth, and come and chat to us! We will be there the whole way through the conference, ready to answer all the questions you might have.
What about the PCS Instruments drinks evening?
Sadly, we cannot all meet up and go out together for some pre-dinner drinks and nibbles this year, but rest assured when we can all meet again in person, the yearly Tuesday evening event will return. Hopefully, you are all looking forward to it as much as we are!
